So I couldn't bear with it and decided to watch it online
I was going to complain about how bad the camera work for the 10-11 dvd was. I mean, it keeps panning in and out, and takes shoots at weird angles (eg below stage level when the boys were on the elevated stage), showing close ups/far shoots..and then the editing...keeps changing the focused member. I want to see them dance, not just close ups of their upper body, which doesn't convey how beautiful the dance is! And not to mention shoots from the side when the front view would have provided great images of their dance formations. I mean, if I'd wanted close ups, I'll just go buy some magazines. But what magazine goodness cannot convey is the beauty of body movements. Argh I can't get over this!
But on the positive side...
a Day in Our Life.
I was quite sad for Jun, that he initiated so much love with his riida - looking at him while singing together, hands on his shoulders - but never got back as little as a reciprocal look from Ohno.
BUT.
OMG. The peck! I jumped with Jun! It wouldn't have been so special if it wasn't initiated by him, and if it wasn't such a short one that's evidence of the shyness and...innocence?
On top of that, the third person sharing the stage (Nino) just carried on like it was usual affair. LOL. I need to add that I was going "kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" all the way during Sora Takaku, because Nino actually reached out to grab not one, but TWO yellow balloons as a whole army of them got released into the sky. He looked so happy when he caught them!
Surprisingly, I really love Let Me Down's dance. I guess I didn't really notice it because from where I was sitting, I couldn't see the front view of the center stage where they did the dance....but on dvd, omg this dance is so good. Something like a mass dance? I like the casual jeans look and the tons of leg movements, all coordinated so well.
And the thank you speeches were awesome.
Sho's was poetic, sincere, about them wanting to be that short glimpse of a 5-coloured rainbow whenever we go through the 'ARASHI' of our lives.
Ohno's was cute, not just in the content but also the way he said it (all serious and a bit exhausted? and straight faced). He said that his memory is surprisingly good so he can remember all the faces he saw at the con. He remembers the faces of people who attend their concerts everytime. So, he asked everyone to do some makeup whenever they attend the cons! LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. As if he can see from that far! He's really getting cheekier and cheekier by the month.
Aiba's cute as usual, trying his best to convey his feelings of "I feel alive!" despite his sore (very very sore) throat. "Let's stay alive together from now on too!" Oh, the child-like thoughts...
Nino's started off with him mimicking Aiba's hoarse voice. *rolls around in laughter* And Jun, the majime leader, interrupted to remind him that it's not a imitation session. That brat. =P His speech was touching too, sharp, straight to the point......kakkoii, as he put it. But he had boast about that in the end. LOL. That brat. Love him to bits!
And Jun's was the usual majime speech ne. But it's littered with cute Jun. I especially love how he went about saying that our smiles make him stronger and stronger and stronger by the day, wanting to work hard to see them again. It was so cute how he kept talking about it and emphasizing it....<3

Because they're so silly.

Because they

Because they're children at heart.

Because they are cheeky (regardless of age).

Because they aren't afraid to show their silly side.

Because when one fails, he can fall back on the other four.

Because their young spirits transcend age and space to make me feel like a child.

Because
Individually they are good.
Paired they are better.

But all 5 together is much better.
And, like what Nino said, the Arashi that IS indeed Arashi (and not a product of marketing and clever camera editing) is here.
Indeed,

The Arashi that is like this is Shiawase.
