Juntoshi Scene in Dome!

Work has been busy, but I found time to watch the dvd yay!


I was quite surprised that Riida's voice went thin at a point during his solo. For the first time, I got worried that he'll go off-pitch. Because he's Riida! Because I've been too used to perfection. Because he'll be so upset with himself. But fortunately, though it wasn't strong, it wasn't off either.

I was baited to watch this dvd because someone told me there are Juntoshi moments. So, I thought she was refering to the MC part where a large chunk was devoted to Juntoshi skinship, and Ohno's declaration that he finds unstyled-hair-jun cute. And Jun promising to send Ohno a photo after he bathes. That was a Juntoshi moment of course, but contrary to what I thought, that wasn't the end!!!


The random member love during Happiness!! Seeing how Riida kept looking at Jun, I don't think this was rehearsed.The idea just took off spontaneously among these very close members who understand each other enough to read intentions.


And then Riida initiated the final gesture for "Hitotsu dake no happiness"/"Just one happiness", and the rest followed!


Then, while singing My Girl, the guys made their way to the main stage, and there we have Riida scooping Jun into the line. I've always felt that Jun was just a tad different from the rest, who really fit in the category of guy-next-door. But Riida, the quiet, unassuming leader, used his own way to keep the group together when someone starts to stray.


This time the grabbing is done by Jun, not Nino. HAHA, but Riida's too desensitised to care.


Totally no change in expression!


When everyone turns around and lets go of each other, Juntoshi is still holding on...


Because Riida wants revenge! hahahahah



I'm happy with the dvd, so happy that I'll stop complaining about the lack of Ohno-birthday footage. It was Arashi at their best - them being their dorky self (all the Sho baka expressions, Jun's spontaneous actions like grabbing hold of the camera during Sakura Sake, Nino's constant teasing of his member like Sho's water incident during Summer Splash and tearing Aiba's tee during Sakura Sake, Ohno speaking so much during MC without even being prompted, Ohno being the cutest I've seen in a long time, chasing after Nino and such, Aiba's fail moments!!), and so much actual live singing.
