Kanjani 8

[livejournal.com profile] jazzinjuly  had previously brought it up. Angel and Yen had shared similar sentiments.

Now, listening to the top 100 Oricon 2010 list made me feel the same again.

Perhaps K8 will become the next big thing in JE.

Their voices aren't the most alluring, but their songs transformed from wacky and fun in previous years to singable and catchy in 2010. And don't get me started on their PVs.

This is my predictation for 2011-2012. Let's see how it turns out.

That's because K8 had moved away from their enka roots and transformed themselves into a pop group now. I would say its high time, after languishing for years in the doldrums...

It's obvious they are finding the next JE group to milk and yes, very likely K8. Too bad they changed their style at the time I was SO crazy for them around 2006-2007. It just made me fall more in love with Arashi and some of the K8 fans piss me off. Now when those fans start comparing, I just go "Take it! Go ahead take whatever you want - albums, singles, dvds being released MONTHLY. Go use all your money. I'm more than thankful for what Arashi has done."

Wah wah, I'm famous again. MUAHAHAHA.

But true story, after seeing them in concert last year, I am more certain!! XD They have the personalities to carry the group. And they are also close, which is always good! XD

Is their new stuff good again, then? :O

I used to be really fond of them back when I was into JE around 2003-2005, and their stuff was fun to listen to even if on the whole none of them can really sing. Then in 2006 they came out with Osaka Romanesque/Osaka Obachan Rock and afterwards it's just been crazy, whacky stuff that I couldn't listen to.

LOL right when I typed this, a K8 song came on. Maybe it's a sign.

OMG......i feel ashamed as K8 fans.....more than 2 years...hiatus......dunno everything liao even Karene......Arashi fans know more about K8 now......but I m happy......got new friend to share K8 liao hahahah :p
