I made a terrible mistake at work. A very simple mistake. A very obvious mistake that I should have caught right away. But my mind wasn't on that, my eye didn't catch that. And to think I've been so proud of my observation skills.

Don't blacklist and condemn me forever, please!

I think I might be exaggerating things but I really think that I'm going to be branded useless, blur, careless, not dependable etc etc for the rest of my years at the firm.

I made a mistake at work today as well. T^T I feel stupid because my supervisor already warned me beforehand about it, and I made a mistake because my colleague had to take over my work when I had to help somewhere else.

I kind of feel not dependable at my workplace...

Hey, everybody does mistakes, we are only human!
I feel always bad, too, when I make a mistake, but mistakes should help us to grow. ;) Not to repeat the same mistake is the most important. ;) It doesn´t matter how many times you fall, to stand up after every fall is important. ;) Sometimes a mistake just reminds us that we can´t stop concentrating and that we have to pay attention even to small details, it is a caution for us. ;)

You said that the mistake would have impact on your money, the money problem is 'serious', but look at it from the different view, nobody died, nobody was injured by your mistake. ;)
And by the way even professionals or the best people make mistakes. ;)

No, you aren´t careless, I really do think that you are dependable. ;)
But if you keep thinking that you are hopeless and useless, you will become like that!
