Halfway through...

Two down, two more to go.

I don't know if I should love or hate Olaf. The questions which came out today (he set the paper) were not foreign. We had had them as presentation topics in class before. The one about Web 2.0, about Google v Yahoo (and their aquisition of YouTube/Skype), about why dual core processor is not = to higher speed. BUT, who would have known that those topics will come out??! I mean, presentation topics...are not stuff you will pay alot of attention to and take down notes on. They're the "ok, another group's presentation, let's hear it and that's it"-kind of stuff. I could remember vaguely some points, but I wasn't very sure and those bits and pieces of info weren't sufficient to furnish an answer. Damn. Why didn't he test on Window Vista! That was our group's topic! I guess he is trying to reward those who pay attention in class.

And, he loves surprises. During the last seminar, he tested us on DB, and we were all shocked out of our lives not because it was a surprise test but because he said he was going to test us on paper. Database test on paper. He had printed out the tables, ERD, query forms for us to fill in. Amazing. And today, he tested us on excel. FOR FINAL EXAM!! I should have known when he gave some sort of a weak smile when we asked him last week whether lab sessions such as excel and access are testable.

Aniwaes, two papers down, two more to go. The two killer papers: Biz Law and Financial Management. I wanna sleep already. I'll rest for a while. Before I start again.

oh, sw called me today. 10 mins before the exam started. I was darn shocked because it was registered as "Private Number" in my cellphone so I thought she was back in S'pore! It turned out that she was calling from a payphone in Australia. O.O Then why is it a 'private number'??? Oh wells, she gave me a huge surprise that I made a fool of myself by over-reacting in front of the whole cohort waiting to enter the exam hall. Fortunately she called before the exam, or I won't be able to answer it! ^_^ Thankies mokmok. *hugs* Thanks alot.
