FAMA must be my favourite singers from Hong Kong. I like Eason, Miriam, Chilam, Raymond, Sammi...but FAMA's songs grab my attention like none of them do. I know them for their often witty lyrics, sometimes involving wordplay, sometimes involving black humour and sometimes poking fun at Hong Kong culture.
This one above talks about how the girl they like can't understand/can't speak but can understand Cantonese, and on the other hand, they can't speak comprehensive Mandarin. Although they have a lot of feelings they wish to convey (like showing off how popular they are in spite of how they look while struggling with words), they can't due to the language barrier.
It's cute, and I can empathise.
