Aug. 23rd, 2011 02:24 pmThere are two things I dislike about my job.
1. Unappreciative superiors (i.e. the managers and top guys) who treat us as nothing more than a number in the staffing report. Numbers without feelings, whom they won't hesitate to show how insignificant and unimportant we are in the big organisation.
2. Backstabbing customers who complain straight to the top guys when we step on their toes, without even bothering to feedback to us first, hence shoving the shock-of-a-lifetime in our face without warning. Especially when everything stemmed from a misunderstanding/miscommunication.
I don't even mind that much the quantity of our remuneration, the quality of our work-life balance, the duration of our unofficial work hours.
But those two. They demoralise me, waste my tears and time (and youth).
