The unofficial 6th member of Arashi <3

-------------------------

And also, Arashi.
Because I had Arashi, because I had friends
I was able to run on a pathless path.

Although it's farewell to 5-person Arashi for a while
Each of the 1-person Arashi from henceforth are still my friends.

You have really worked hard for a long time.
Thank you for including me in your important final concert tour.
I know how the audiences were laughing.
Why? Because I listened to it live at Tokyo Dome! The sound of laughter! Your laughters!

If you think about it, I participated in the FIRST CONCERT, and also performed in the final tour in the form of a footage.
Back then, I couldn't have imagined that such a future awaited

If I were to write more, I'll end up writing a book, and I'll start crying, so I shall stop here.

Thank you Arashi.
Let's continue to get along well from henceforth.

Arashi is so well loved by even their senpais. Nakai-san is really sweet..

--------------------

Rough translation of the part where he mentioned Arashi on his radio show

Arashi announced last year, that they will take a break on (after) the 31st. Well...it's ok if they return within this week, right?

I mean, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Jan, they can rest for three days, and resume from the 4th.

I think it's ok that they change (the plan). But of course, I don't know what they themselves think.

Many things happened in 2020. For the past 1.5 - 2 years, they aimed for the "I will take a break for once" goal, but then maybe it's (become) like "Eh? I don't really need a break?" "But we've announced it, how can we not do it now?" "So let's go on hiatus on 31 Dec and take a break for 3 days before we resume."

I think that is perfectly fine.

Or even one month later.

Or within 2021.

Or 5 years later.

No one knows.

It's all ok.

With a change in environment, a change in thoughts, one's will may change too.

It's often said that it's uncool to lose, or that it's lame to change your feelings.

But there are some reasons for the change for sure.

They pile up and make you think "This is not it". They pile up again and make you think "That is better". Again, they pile up and you go "This also is not it".

Through that, a conclusion forms and the environment changes.

I think it's perfectly ok for that to happen.

At the opening of the show, Aiba said, "Everyone from Arashi, are you watching? There are 3 hours so please come over if you have time. You can make it in time!"

When asked about how he spent 1st Jan, he said, "After the New Year's Eve, the 5 of us had  a drink. On the 1st, we exchanged mails and Sho-chan sent a cool mail saying 'Tokyo Tower is in Arashi colours!'."

He continued, "Before the show started, Sho-chan sent a mail saying, 'I am in front of the TV watching!'." Following that, he repeatedly several times his invitation for the members to come if they are free.

VS Damashi started on a good note and I had fun watching it, though at the same time I missed Arashi's presence on the familiar set with the familiar "voice from the skies". I'm glad that they didn't make it like a taboo to mentioned Arashi/members' names openly....and the baton touch from Nino's Ninomiyan's house that aired right before VS Damashi was awesome! I feel healed....

Even after they enter into hiatus, Arashi is the "Five Musketeers". I hope the day will come when they become one again.

Arashi entered into hiatus on 31 Dec last year. A Daily Sports reporter who used to be in-charge of Johnnys' news looked back at the past 21 years.

"One for all, all for one" This quote from the Three Musketeers symbolises Arashi's past 21 years.

In 2002, Aiba Masaki suffered from pneumothorax. The following week, Arashi had to head to Hawaii for a fan event. Due to the nature of the illness, it was impossible for him to take the airplane. However, Aiba had a tube inserted into his chest in order to adjust the air pressure, and made a forced trip to Hawaii. Holding back the pain, Aiba said with a smile, "I can't make everyone worry." His feelings towards his friends and the fans, as well as his professionalism, could be seen. Arashi was like the "Five Musketeers".

In 2021, Ohno Satoshi entered into a break and Arashi will not be seen for a while. A group which is close to the people and which insists on being ordinary. To this reporter who felt lonely, a Johnny's artiste said, "It's ok. Arashi will always be in everyone's hearts." There is a group called Arashi, and what they conveyed to us will not disappear.
