If he continues to promote his boys the way he has been doing in the past decade, he'll never catch up with developments overseas! Go on and let oversea idols slowly bite into your market (and I'm not just refering to the local on, but also the bigger market that you're not fully capitalising on). Given his age, he needs to learn some Taiji quan moves, like the following:
借力打力. To move with the flow and use the force from others to fight back them.
Use Youtube for your own sake rather than keep trying (fruitlessly) to beat the culture!

Date: 2010-10-28 05:56 pm (UTC)Sad to say, some Japanese record companies for flumpool, WEAVER etc are already doing it. Its only JE who are behind the times and lacking in foresight.
Also, media / movie companies who upload trailers from their own channels get a huge vote from me. This doesnt kill off small-time uploaders but will reduce them.
