Last day, JFC

Last day in Tokyo!
Made last min plans to meetup with Cass and pass her the Ohno shop photo and we decided to visit the JFC. Or rather, I dragged poor her along with me in search of the, as she put it, "basement".
Oh before that we had lunch at a really good sushi place. Not too expensive, and the food was really fresh. I love the tamago roll. ^_^
And then, we walked around trying to find the JFC. Was quite a failed attempt, although we managed to make it eventually. So, for the benefit of the generations after us....here're some photos to hlep you find your way to that basement. XP
I'm more of a JR person, so this is coming from a JR point of view.
At the Shibuya station on the Yamanote line, exit and look for the Hachiko exit. It's quite easy to find; just look at the ceiling outside the ticketing gantry and you'll see signboards directing you to various train lines and exits. Worse come to worse, just ask. The Hachiko exit is quite a popular exit over there. Once you come out of that exit, head for the Shibuya scramble junction (photo from google):
HMV at Shibuya has already shut down so you won't be able to see the HMV signboard though.
There are three directions at the junction. One is towards the ex-HMV direction, as seen above. Another is towards the left of the picture, and another towards the right. Cross the junction towards the right direction, and then turn right.
Another view
If you're in the right direction, you should see the overhead railway line. Walk straight towards the railway line.
Continue walking straight and you'll pass by Mizuho Bank (I included it as a landmark coz I don't think that bank will shift anytime soon!)
At the next cross junction you'll have the Bic Camera (ビックカメラ) building behind you. There's also a cinema inside the building so most likely you'll see movie posters on the building (like for now it's Battle Royale 3D). Taito game center is also in the building. The name is in English so it should be easy to recognise ne! Cross the road to the opposite side (directly opposite the Bic Camera building)
And on the other side is the Kobayashi (小林) building. Continue walking straight.
And on the way you'll pass by:
First Kitchen
Post office
Asahi Seimei
At the corner after Asahi Seimei building, turn left.
If you're in the right alley, you'll see this:
YAY!! All that work for a small squeezy basement. Oh well. It's like a pilgrimage. Afterall, like what Cass said, SMAP (and I'm sure the respective idols we have - gosh, how aptly named?!) are like GODS. haha.
Here's what greeted us when we entered.
Many others Arashi suff, but will just post up a few because Shiyagare (I refuse to call it 'AniShi') is starting.
Kakkoii jan!
Christmas messages from Arashi. I love how they wrote their names! Nice handwriting!
Another angle for Jun's coz his fell off and hence couldn't be seen properly above. He's so cute leaving gaps in the message...haha, nothing much to write?
For my Takuya friend.

We stood there a long time waiting for Arashi's video to come up. I think it was shot quite recently, because they talked about that bartender drama Aiba's going to be in. I was wondering if Ohno was ever going to speak, because halfway through and he still didn't utter a word! And then Sho posed him a question. "What's your fav song on the Hatenai Sora single?" For Ohno, it was Story because there's this 不思議 vibe to it, especially the intro that goes 'dun dun dun'. And for Jun it was Ano Hi No Christmas as it's been a while since they did a Christmas song, and Aiba Maboroshii. The thing is, everytime they asked Ohno to say something, some final words and stuff, he'll repeat that his fav song was Story, and start the 'dun dun dun' thing. LOL!!
We left the JFC feeling satisfied (maybe not for Cass, but hey girl! GANTZ's difficult to hit so don't get too disappointed! There's still GANTZ 2! haha!) and went magazine hunting all the way to Shinjuku.
By then I was feeling quite unwell already, because I had caught a cold, so I was cold, feeling heavy headed, and preventing my nose from running. =( Parted and then took the train to meet my family. Well, on the way, I saw the ones to make me feel just a tad better.
Quite a good trip this time, meeting a lot of fan friends. =) Like, finally, someone who sees Yuma the way I see him, and thinks of Meisa as I do! YAY! lol...And of course the amazing concerts! Expensive tickets, but worthed it. I'll continue working hard at work to earn the tickets next year!
Ja ne.
OMG. They're so cute playing telephone on tv! And poor Ohno is ALWAYS bullied by Nino. kekekekek
