I'm really proud of the boys. The title of the spread is

ARASHI meets MANGA - Nippon no Arashi, Nippon no Manga

I'm so so proud of this.

Because, we all know that manga is one culture asset of Japan ne. Hence, 'Nippon no Manga".

And then, "Nippon of Arashi". Can I extrapolate the above and say that Arashi is considered an asset of Japan too? Not to the same level but around the same level as manga is?

And the thing is, under each manga art of the member is a product advertisement.

Yes! 8 full paged spread!!! And not to mention getting 5 mangakas too take time and draw those artwork. How much face did those mangakas give these pop idols (there's still a bit of stigma to idols, especially JE idols ne)?

I think the mangakas relished collaborating on this SP project. Its the anti-JE peeps we should be worried about...seeing so much Arashi in their papers!

On the other hand, Asahi Shimnbun is more of a business paper, and not your every day Nikkan Sports...
