The end of the greatest love story

I'm so going to miss the crazy, flawed Dok Go Jin.
Watch that crazy energy in action:
I'm so amused that my love spilled to the original song by G-Dragon. Have a fanvid: G-Dragon's song + Sexy, drop-dead gorgeous photos of the man (Cha Seung Won, that is). Ok, I just hope his children won't stumble onto this, because it must be very odd hearing people comment that your dad is hot. HAHAH
I'm going to miss tattooed bad ass Dok Go Jin.
It's interesting that a typical 'bad guy' symbol commemorates his love for his children. So I love them (the tattoos that it)!
I'm going to miss the greatest love between Dok Go Jin and Gu Ae Jeong.
The Hong Sisters never fail to deliver (although I've only watched My Girl, Hong Gil Dong, You're Beautiful, My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho, and now The Geatest Love). Though out of those I've watched, I've found myself unable to rewatch all except for MGIAG (does this have to do with the fact that a lot of their scenes are packed with hilarious surprises that rewatching them halves the fun?), I think TGL is here to stay.
In fact, I'm giving City Hall another try (had given it up once), because I'm so unwilling to let go of Cha Seung Won. Plus, I'm waiting for the new Kim Sun Ah drama to start!
If only a directors' cut for TGL gets released!!
Goodbye, The Greatest Love~

Date: 2011-06-28 05:57 am (UTC)I'm in the funny position of waiting for Kim Sun Ah's new drama to END. XD Because unless I'm sure she doesn't die, I probably won't watch it no matter how hard Lee Dong Wook calls to me. D: It sounds like they're going for a light, breezy, dark humour sort of feel though - I'm kind of imagining Kim Sun Ah and Lee Dong Wook in Flowers for My Life.

Date: 2011-06-28 07:45 am (UTC)Go watch it! I've given up on Romance Town. Am going to watch City Hall once I finish translating Ep 16 (I'm losing momentum!).
Oh, do you have any idea if Director's Cuts will be sold to overseas fans? Or is it purely through DC Gallery (which is only 'assessable' to Korean fans)? I need a Director's Cut of TGL. Oh, my Dokko Jin.
Wait. Wait!!!!!!!!!!!! Die? What die??? I'm going to watch it for Kim Sun Ah! It's been so long since I've watched her in a drama. If they let her die........

Date: 2011-06-28 07:55 am (UTC)I'm really not sure, since the only Director's Cut I've ever bought is the Sungkyunkwan Scandal one! That was sold to overseas fans as well through Yesasia, but that was after there was all this confusion whether it's just the normal DVD or the DCut version, so I'm not sure whether it'll be different otherwise? I know the original "expression of interest" thing was done through DC Gallery. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure overseas fans got to buy the DCut version of You're Beautiful, too. Keep an eye on Soompi; considering the popularity of TGL, some Korean-speaking fans are bound to champion the DCut cause. :D
Kim Sun Ah's new drama is about a 30-something woman who's presumably living a dull ajumma-ish life, but then finds out she only has 6 months to live! So she goes off to enjoy life and meets Lee Dong Wook, or something like that.

Date: 2011-06-28 08:11 am (UTC)Oh, to be honest, I was so caught up in the May rush of dramas (k, jdramas) that I had to prioritise, and Romance Town ended up last on my list, so I haven't even gotten to the part where she pretended to be someone else...And recaps spoil the plot, so I didn't dare to click on any of those floating around either.
When does that show start? Scent of a Woman, is that the title? Ok, it sounds like 49 Days, just without the spark of hope that she may get to live. If they ever pull a "she miraculously recovers"/"someone just died and the organ is a match!" on us, I'll boycott the screenwriter forever. Much as I want Kim Sun Ah to survive... Oh, I don't need such depth in dramas, just give me good old funnybone Kim Sun Ah!!

Date: 2011-06-28 08:18 am (UTC)I couldn't resist checking the recaps. 8D And I figured Romance Town didn't have much plot anyway, so there was little to spoil...
Yup, Scent of a Woman! It starts 23rd July, I think. The queer thing is that it's described as a light romcom, which is what led me to wonder whether they were going for a Flowers for My Life/49 Days without the grief! feel - and if they go that way, then you'll get your funnybone Kim Sun Ah after all. :P Perhaps she'll go to her end brightly? Then again, the 49 Days crew lied to us about the theme as well, LOL. It was totally sold as a light drama, and then she kicked the bucket without so much as a farewell.
