I can't put it to words, but I love this image from Kis-My-Ft2's debut single Everybody Go, the RE edition.

I love the crisscross effect of their omghowcantheirlegsbesoslimunlikemine! feet. But what got to me is Fujigaya (did I get his name right? did I did I?!) putting up peace sign behind his back. I just find it sosososo cute.
And I'm now watching Ep8, with dear JGS cameoing for a whole 5 mins!!! He Is So Cute. And I love how his cameo was written in to move the plot, as compared to Shingo's rather meaningless (but still exciting!) cameo 2 eps back. How great it is that JGS took time out to appear on the drama, an act I believe to be out of goodwill.

On a not so positive side note, watching Ikemen Desu Ne made me realise that much as I thought my years of watching J variety (although limited to Arashi and JE related ones) had made me get used to the Japanese type of humour, I was wrong. One or two minutes of Tanoshingo on tv was ok for me. but watching him appear every now and then on the drama doing his trademark underarms thing and speaking in the act-cute-voice-Japanese-girls-seem-to-like-and-which-I-have-since-gotten-over-hearing-the-girls-speaking-like-that is horrible. Please, someone stop that man. =/

Date: 2011-09-05 04:52 am (UTC)Re: Japanese humour, I've never been able to warm to their love of slapstick comedy. Random face mugging, overexaggerated reactions, etc. I can't stand it, and it's the reason why I've been turned off many otherwise decent dramas. XD Gu Hye Sun's cringe-inducing Geum Jandi would probably be a good fit in a jdrama like Hana Kimi 2011, now that I think about it.

I'm currently quite caught up with Zenkai Girl (starring Nishikido Ryo and Aragaki Yui). Give it a try maybe?

Date: 2011-09-05 11:35 am (UTC)Oh yeah, Zenkai Girl - I've heard a number of good things about it! How close is it to ending its run? I think I'll wait until it's done airing and marathon; I'm so used to the Korean 2-episodes-a-week that waiting for an ep a week for jdramas kill me. :P
