I love each and every member of Arashi.
And here is one reason why I love Nino.
I was just watching the 1 Sep 2011 VS Arashi and I noticed his 優しさ/thoughtfulness/meticulous nature again.
I had caught that once on Arashi ni Shiyagare before, and now again.
Out of fun, Jun agreed to put on a pair of very funky (yet very him) glasses, which caused his vision to be completely blocked. The game of Kicking Sniper started in that state. For the first formation, the first player scored a perfect. At that moment, I heard "終わった、終わった!"/"It's over, it's over!". It sounded like...
For the second formation, Sho scored a perfect, and the voice came again.

Just when Sho was jumping around in glee,

When Aiba was clapping in excitement and Ohno sitting around...like miracle!sho is an everyday thing,
Nino was there updating a confused Jun what was happening.
And this is why I love him so.
[EDIT]
Finished watching the episode! Have to say that it has been a while since I've felt so excited during VS Arashi! The Bound Hockey was exciting! It was great to watch generous Arashi give up all the x2 pucks, and for the guest team to present Arashi back with 1 after their amazing score of 520. 520! My jaw dropped at that! The guest team was amazing, with an almost perfect track record.
And then, all the adrenaline rush when cheering for Arashi to beat the odds and score the 500 they needed to win!
I thought it was quite impossible, but, like what Ohno said,

When he sets out to do something, he will do it.

Imagine the surprise I felt when he managed to score the final deciding puck!

Arashi, your trust in the steady riida's abilities and determination has been well placed!
Like what Ohno himself said, he was in good form, even scoring 110 points with the revamped (the 50% smaller opening) basket!
But, miracle-causing or not, he is still our same old ridda. The riida who doesn't seem to know what just happened.
