ここ国立でのコンサートも五年目、五回目ですって。初めてコンサートやった時なんかは、皆でいっぱいカメラを持って写真を撮ってたけどさ。おそらく心のどこかで、きっと一回きりだろうなーなんて思っていたかもしれないと。最近あの最初のコンサートのドキュメンタリー観てて思いました。こうして、二回、三回、四回、そして五回目と・・・こんな大きいな所でこんなステキな所で回数重ねられるのは本当に皆さんのおかげだと思ってます。皆さんのおかげで、もちろんコンサートだけではなくて、色々な仕事させていだく中で皆さんに大きいな夢を見させてもらってたような、そんな気がしてます。みなさんを含む僕たちに夢を重ねてくれるいわば仲間？たちの想いを背負いながら引き続き、走り続けて行きたいなと思っています。どうぞ付いて来てください。

This is the fifth year we are having a concert at Kokuritsu, the fifth time. When we first held a concert (here), everyone took lots of photos, probably because somewhere deep inside we felt that it'll be the only time (we'll hold a concert here). It was what came to mind when I watched the documentary clip of that very first concert recently. And like that, we had a second time, third time, fourth time, and the fifth time...To be able to return to such a huge venue, such an amazing venue so many times, is really thanks to all of you. Thanks to you all, we're able to do various things, not just concerts, and realise great dreams. We'll continue moving forward carrying out dreams, including all of yours. Please do come along with us.

ほんとにもう何回ここに立ってるでしょうって感じですけど、最初の頃はほんとにまさかこの国立でできるとは思っていなくて。少しずつ積み重ねて皆さんが僕らをここに立たせてくれたとすごく感じます。なのでこれからも僕らをここに立たしてください。共にいいライブをこれからも皆で作りたいと思います。

I really wonder about the number of times we've stood here. At the beginning, I really didn't think we would be able to hold one at Kokuritsu. It's fun that this Arafes was created by everyone through your song requests. This is amazing. This fun Arafes had its first day yesterday, and today is its last. Although uch thinking give it a lonely feeling, it was great right? I'll pray that we'll have another one next year. There will be, since I said so. We'll work hard till then, so that we'll be able to stand here, so that we'll be able to return here. And lastly....although this is my own opinion, those of you wearing the T-shirt, it really looks good on you. Those who are wearing the T-shirt and the wristband scores 120 points!

フードタオルをかぶってる子は150点だそうです。まぁ、ほんとにこうやって皆で作っていくんだなと。その楽しさだけを感じて走って来れた、この2回の公演でした。すごく楽しくて。あの2人もさぞ喜んでいると思います。ずいぶん会わないうちにメンバーが増えたんだね。総勢今10人と。嵐を超えることとなりまして。嵐のコンサートをやるかぎり彼らはずっと少なからず後ろにはいるんでしょう。こうやって戻って来れたのもですね、みなさんのおかげだと思っております。本当に彼らを代表して…私が挨拶したいと思います（笑）

So it seems that those with the hooded towel scores 150 points. Really, we held the 2 concert days with the thought of the fun having everyone create this together. It was really fun. I'm sure those two people are also happy with this. The number of members have increased since the last time we saw them. They number 10 now. They've overtaken Arashi. Everytime Arashi holds a concert, they're somewhere at the back I guess. I think it's thanks to all of you that they made a comeback like this. I shall represent tham and send stage greetings to you.

We had the Arafes because we wanted to try something different from what we had always done. How did you find Arasfes? Did you enjoy it? Although we always try to make it possible for all of you here to take part in the concert, for this Arafes, we wanted to make it something more of what you want to see, which makes you more excited, which is made by everyone. 本当に翔くんも言ってまけども、この場所で五年連続僕らがコンサート出来ると思ってなかったし、五年も長い間こう夢をみせていただき。この場所だけじゃなく、色んな場所で色んな夢をみせていただきました。デビューしてから13年経った、今思うことは、この5人で皆と一緒にこれからも一緒に歩いていきたい。そんなふうに思ってます。まだまだ5人で力を合わせて進んでこと思うんでこれからも宜しくお願いします。

Like what Sho-kun said, we never thought it possible that the five of us can hold concerts held 5 years in a row. During these 5 long years, we managed to fulfil various dreams. Not just at this venue, we fulfilled many dreams in many different places. 13 years have passed since out debut. I want to continue going forward in the future as these 5 people. We'll continue progressing forward with the strength of us 5 combined. Please show us your favour in the future too.
And cue 感謝カンゲキ雨嵐. Such a perfect timing, to sing this just as the rain starts...it's like the skies are helping them create the right atmosphere.

The feelings when it was announced that they have won the right to perform at Kokuritsu. It's not just the scale. It's also the meaning to it.
Of course, the ability to attract enough concert-goers to fill up the ~50,000 seats. If I don't remember wrongly, the 'behaviour' of fans are also important, so that they will not create any disruption in the areas round Kokuritsu.
Back then, the only artistes who had held concerts at that 'sacred' venue were SMAP (2005, 2006) and DREAMS COME TRUE (2007). In 2008 was the year. And every year since then. The venue limits only 1 concert each year, and our Arashi has made it every year since 2008, which, like Ohno and Jun and Sho said, is totally unbelievable (to them who had went through slumps) and a prestige to be thankful for. This year is especially special as the stadium would be demolished for the construction of a new one. Perhaps this is why both Arashi and L'Arc~en~Ciel were granted permission to hold concerts in Kokuritsu this year. I remember almost having a breakdown when L'Arc~en~Ciel's concert was announced, because it would mean that Arashi wasn't going to have one.

For a moment, my world was shaken. Kokuritsu has became a norm. But now, thinking back, the sense of pride and happiness felt in 2008 came rushing back.
While I'm still terribly frustrated that JE isn't doing anything to pish Arashi out to the International, or even the regional market, I'm satisfied that the boys made it there, and stayed there. It would be crushing for them if they went down from their peak in 2008, to have that one moment in limelight at Kokuritsu and then disappear again. I'm sure that if JE put in some effort, Arashi can be bigger than XXXX from some other country, but one shall not be greedy, especially when the boys from C no Arashi has made it so far, out from the basement at the TV station to the open-air Kokuritsu where they can fly anywhere they want.

My wish is just for them to keep have singles and album every year, and keep appearing in regular shows (such a pity for himitsu no arashi-chan, am too used with 3 shows to wait every week T T ). So we, the one that's far away from them (not in Japan), will be able to sense their energy and spirit too ^^.
