It's gotten really cold.

Before I know it, autumn has turned to winter. There are many instances where I regret going out without thick clothing. 

How have you been?

The special site for the year end concert "This is Arashi LIVE 2020.12.31" has launched today and you can now purchase tickets~!!

Accompanying that, we have also put up "Everyone get ready! TV", so that everyone can make various preparations for the live streaming broadcast!!

In the first place...

We have discussed about this year end concert for a long time.

We wanted to make it such that the people watching our concert at the end of 2020 can all watch in under the same circumstances.

Although various things happened this year and we had to hold the concert without live audience, we had started making preparations for that separately from these events.

Also, to hold a concert at year end via live streaming broadcast is quite a challenge. We foresee that there will be a lot of exchanges such as calls and mails on New Year's Eve. So, how much of the data exchange environment can we prepare? There were such elements which we couldn't conceive.

"I want to make this the best, a memorable time with everyone!!"

That's how I feel.

I hope that the concert can be created by everyone while enjoying ourselves, so it'll be great if everyone can join in the preparation stage and get our excitement level up together.

Also, regarding the "Friends participation function" announced today.

In this live streaming concert, both us and fans will be able to sense each other's close existence.

We are making preparations such that this will be a concert where we can feel such a connection.

And also, I think Arashi fans have many friends who are also Arashi fans. There are probably thoughts of "I want to watch the concert with that friend!"

Apart from being connected to us, is there any way that fans can connect with other fellow fans?

I started to work based on this thought.

At the concert venue: Meeting friends whom you have not seen for a long time, and chatting about the year or about shared memories with friends you have grown close to due to concerts, but who live far away. I hope we can create such a time before the concert day.

We are still in the midst of implementing it but we hope you will you be able to enjoy the concert feeling connected to we and also to fellow fans!!

Next, an update.

Earlier on, it was reported from our friends from Johnny's contracted the Corona virus.

I saw posts in response to that, that you are worried about us.

We took the PCR test voluntarily yesterday and the results for Arashi and our staff are negative.

We apologise for making you worried but please be assured.

And we wish a speedy recovery to them!!

Lastly.

To my fans who are worried about things from next year onwards.

Although nothing has been announced,

I, am not retiring (Laughs).

There may be a period where I'll take a break,

I hope I can do things in a manner that suits me, in my way.

In any case, I'm thinking about the Arashi concert now.

I am focused on what's currently on hand.

So what lies ahead, will be done in its time.
