Arashi moves again, slays again. 

How not to love them more by the day? 

This time, slaying with the new JFC video they released today accompanying the survey.

They: 

1) came up with this new function. I have never heard of this in online concerts; 

2) anticipated issues which may affect our enjoyment and asked for feedback; and

3) filmed a video to explain why they did 1 and 2.

I'm guessing that after they get some indicators of interest level, they may upgrade their servers and do some backend magic to ensure those who wants to use the function can do that without a glitch.  

I'm not even surprised anymore.

AMNOS: This is Arashi.

S: Right now, Ninomiya-san, every day's spent on "raved" rehearsals for the New Year's Eve live streaming concert right?

N: That's right. In great condition (zekkochou)!

S: Woah. In great condition, super (Zekkochou chou). Now, we're asking for your help in a survey today.

N: Yes. Regarding the viewing function for our New Year's Eve live streaming concert "This is 嵐 LOVE 2020.12.31". We have set-up a survey in relation to this "Friends Participation" function.

M: We came up with the "Friends Participation" function (T/N: Jun repeats a few times as he thought he read it wrongly) to enable you to connect with friends and family who are far away, or people who you cannot meet in person, and watch the concert together. This is a new function created for the concert.

A: I see.

M: By having the live streaming concert on New Year's Eve, we expect that there will be more internet traffic than usual on that day. It's possible to experience poor connectivity. And so, in order for everyone to enjoy the concert without worrying, we wanted to find out in advance how many people intend to use the "Friends participation" function, and so whether you are interested in this function. Please let us know.

S: That's right.

AMNOS: Please let us know.

M: Oh, of course, we are preparing a concert that's enjoyable even with normal live streaming.

S: Ok. I'm relieved.

M: As such, we want to know if you will really use the function. Of course, there will be those of you who are ok with normal live streaming.

A: Those who want to watch the concert alone are welcomed too!

M: That's right. And so, please let us hear your thoughts!

A: Yes. The survey period is from 7 - 14 Dec. Those who have not bought a ticket can also participate in the survey.
