Just so I don't forget what to watch in the coming months.

Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac
(Screened in Japan in March, starring MakiMatsuken. Just so because it's Matsuken.)
Kaiji 2
(Expected to be screened in Japan in 2011, starring Tatsuya. Excellent directing, tight and exciting plot in first installment.)
GANTZ
(Expected to be screened in Japan in Jan 2011, starring Nino, Matsuken, and dearest Takayuki as a bonus. Not yet a fan of the costume, but the plot sounds promising, and I won't give up the chance to watch 3 of my favourite actors in the same movie. Especially when it's highly likely to be screened in a cinema.)
Ooku
(To be screened in Japan from 1/10, starring Nino and a bit of Maki. JIN has gotten me interested in Japanese period dramas, and made the weird hairstyle more acceptable. The twist in the story seems interesting.)
Hanamikuki
(To be screened in Japan from 21/8, starring Toma, Gakki and Makai Osamu. Plot about long distance love that spans 10 years. from a high schooler to an adult. Looks like a tearjerker, but it'll be worth the tears.)
JIN 2 Opps, not a movie.
(Expected to air in Japan in 2011)

It's true, that all memories, no matter how vivid, how emotion-filled, fade with time. So does pain, no matter how strong, gets left behind as we move foward into each new day. My dearest PYH, I wrote of you as strong and courageous in my mixi, for you ventured into a land with different tongue, and stayed there 5 straight years just so you can acheive your goal. After 5 years, the endurance has finally bore fruit, and it was time to return home and further your success through another channel. With the striking performance in Slingshot, and the upcoming remake of a classic, you would have rode on your success as a singer and made yourself known to all of Korea. But... Now... Was I wrong? Were you not as strong as I thought you were? It's ok to be weak. It's ok... But...why? Why?

If PYH, who I really love but am not too involved in, can make such depressions in my mood, what if it was... No, I don't want to think about it.

Coming to Arashi, I just watched their To Be Free PV. I like the simple feeling, the lights, the monochrome and pastel colours. As for the song itself, when I first heard it (I had avoided all radio leaks and the like), I made up my mind to blog about how it sounded very B-side, and not something I would expect to head a single. How should I put it? Everytime the song sounded like it's about to reach that high point, it suddenly plays a set of notes that brings down my tension. It's not as sing-a-long-friendly or bubblegum-sticky as most other A-sides. But after repeated hearing, I found a love for it. Simple, and gives hopes. That's good enough for me. I always try to listen to the song itself, before listening properly for the lyrics, because I believe that a song should be able to convey its message through the melody, through the universal language that is its notes. It would be terrible if the feeling of the song differed too greatly from its lyrics!

Too corrupted by the frequent postings of ratings and rankings and sales figures, I've grown to be interested in sales figures, and am looking forward to what sales this single will post in spite of its relativeness weak nature. I want to see Arashi's pure star power.

On a side-note, I'm flying off for my final vacation before starting work, tomorrow!

Melbourne!

It's going to be an adventure, for I'll be trying new things. Like driving around while on vacation. I wish it be fun.
