I cannot believe it.
I spent THE WHOLE DAY at my desk, writing a Korean essay titled "Introducing myself and my family". There must be a minimum of 20 lines. I finished the essay just a while ago and I counted; there were 27 lines.
I SPENT THE WHOLE DAY COMING UP WITH 27 LINES!!!!
This was much worse than that time when I wrote a letter in Japanese.
And I think it's filled with errors because I searched the whole textbook for ways to conjugate sentences...those have not been taught yet and I learnt by example so I think I've made huge mistakes...I don't know if I should have done that because this essay is graded and maybe I should just stick to simple sentences which I know are definitely correct. Rememer what Abe-san said in Dragon Zakura? However, I just feel so strange writing an essay with no linkers in between sentences. It'll be like the following:
I'm taking Korean in school. I wrote a Korean essay. It took a long time. Now, I take a few seconds for each Korean word to register in my brain. I want to sleep. I need to finish this journal entry.
Yes, it will be this bad!!! To make things worse, we've not been taught how to say 'but', 'because', 'thus' etc etc...So I tried to learn how to use these linkers...But I'm afraid I'll be marked down if I used them wrongly. Also, although we've learnt how to say "This car is red", we've not learnt how to say "This red car is..." so I tried to figure it out myself. Again, the question is, WHAT IF I'M WRONG???
Haiz I don't know what to do man...
Aniwaes, I've finally opened DAL album...I only did so because, thanks to Angel's notification, I found out that I could open the plastic cover without cutting it! *claps* I quite liked the album and I'm glad I had it with me during my ordeal today...I love the last two songs most! Step and Go as well as Your Song. Your Song is really addictive! =)
Oh, it has been decided! Gold Coast's my destination for this holiday trip! I had hoped they'll pick Tokyo but (1) they were worried that we may meet an earthquake; and (2) they're quite sick of the place already. I guess it's only natural since we've been there every year since 3 years ago and were always doing the same few things, visiting the same few places...but, I really want to go to the JE shop again! Concert period yo! =( Furthermore, the Aussie $ is so strong now.
