Another round of random ramblings
Nov. 20th, 2009 03:45 amOk, another round of senseless blabbering...for episode 14...
I'm really going to die watching this stupid drama.
It felt like the star inside me was bursting into tens of thousands of stars when Tae Kyung lived up to his name...he was about to tell Mi Nam he likes her when a busload of fangirls started screaming upon seeing their idols by the carpark lots...but, unlike every other korean (or maybe taiwan and japan drama leads) leads, he doesn't let that interrupt his confession. If as Mi Nam turns to leave (to catch the plane), he grabs her and spoke by her ear what he didn't managed to a while earlier.
FINALLY! We have one smart lead who doesn't let the situation trap him into eternal regret.
And the scene where the surrounding conveniently turned quiet when she asked for that was so funny. When she recalled what Tae Kyung said, the world turned into pink roses. HAH! The dumb cliche I always see in Jdoramas. XP While she's being blissful happy at the bus stop, laughing to herself, Shin Woo was on the plane bound for Busan, along and heartbroken.
Ok I'm gonna stop typing for the next I dunno how many minutes because I'm feeling so pained for Jeremy. He's not just good at cheerful scenes...but also such sad ones too! I mean, how to continue the look of being pained when you're singing a song, and at the same time act that you're trying to sound happy?
One more thing. Is Tae Kyung's mother pyschotic? She likes Mi Nam (the real one) because he resembles his father, and dislikes Mi Nyu because she resembles her mother (who she feels is the reason she couldn't be with her love). And when Mi Nyu said the same words as her mother said of Hwa Mo Ran's love, she grew to dislike Mi Nyu even more. Hence, she doesn't want Mi Nyu to obtain happiness (with her son). She's so determined on that that she once again hurt her own flesh and blood by letting him into Mi Nyu's father's identity. This is sick! The sickest mother I've ever seen...worse than Doumyouji's mother even. I really want to throw a shoe at the woman.
And finally, Reporter Kim realises that everytime Go Mi Nyu appears, Go Mi Nam will not appear. Putting everything together, he kind of hit the truth on the right spot. And he even went to Yoo He Yi to confirm his suspisions...I wonder if He Yi will betray the guys. But, the real Mi Nam is coming back, so hopefully they'll find a way out of this mess...it's just that, from the very short scene of Mi Nam in USA, he seems quite..bad boy, in a bad way...I hope he doesn't add tension to the whole drama.
I don't wanna talk about the ending at all. I was so upset watching it. Everyone was having a hard time. Go Mi Nam was crying at the stairs. Hwang Tae Kyung crying one floor above. And from afar, Kang Shin Woo looked on sorrowfully - he had previously said that it's good that he won't see her crying anymore.
The question now is, will Shin Woo continue to give Mi Nam comfort? Since he has been rejected outright.
ps. JGS's Goodbye played at the end...I hope this is the only time it will play, and that it won't appear again at the end of the whole drama.
My only real complain here is that the kiss Tae Kyung gave Mi Nam...is too familiar. If I don't remember wrongly, that was what Ah Meng did in Devil Beside You. Or Huo Da in Why Why Love. One of them.
[edit] On further thought, I think Tae Kyung's anger is not that much from the Mi Nam's connection with the-guy-who-robbed-me-of-my-mother but more from the fact that Mi Nam hid the fact from him. In his confrontation with Mi Nam, he never asked her a thing about his father. Instead, he asked when she got to know about his mother, when she got to know that the song was written by her father, when she got to know about the romance between his mother and her father, and if she had been secretly meeting his mother since they first met. It's all about her not telling the truth, which I think is something Tae Kyung really hates. In that case, it's not a big problem. She can apologise and cheer him up after he has calmed down. It'll all work out. Afterall, our Tae Kyung isn't that dumb a person to be tied down by the past generation.
