I PASSED

yes, キャプタン, I passed *whistles*

7 reasons why I'm happy:

1. I passed. I passed!!!!!! With just 4 demerits points (You fail if you get more than 20) for 2 wide-turning and 2 sharp-turning.

2. I saw the バンビノ~! and プロポーズ大作戦 dvds at TS! But the packaging is horrible as usual, so I'm waiting for the Poh Kim ver to come out!!

3. Things between us are improving, albeit slightly. But I won't be anxious. =)

4. I'm recovering from my illness!

5. I'm meeting my Arashi family tomorrow to celebrate 姉ちゃん's birthday, which is today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY dear!

6. Arashi's kiiroi namida DVD is out!!!!!!!!!!!! LE here I come!!

7. Congrats to Arashi for the Dome concerts! They are big enough to do Dome concert TWICE in a year! To think that just a while ago we were gushing over AAA+DOME! Now they're going to go back there again! I'm so happy for the guys! JE has realised the demand for Arashi cons!

Thank God for:

1. Being with me during the test. I nearly hit the kerb during the crank course. My car was soooo near the kerb at the edge of the course but, God was with me and I managed to get through. And he helped me by giving me a simple test route! Route 5!!! Heng it's not the Teck Whye ones, which usually see heavy traffic. Route 5...I went on Route 4 twice just a while before today, during yesterday's revision and the warm-up drive before the test! Route 4 is similar to Route 5! Lucky lucky! Thank God that I was able to lane change smoothly.

2. Letting me see Mr Phang just as I re-entered the driving centre and for letting me meet Mr Tan on the train. He was going to the driving centre, and I was heading back home. I entered through the door where he was at! This must be the work of God, for me to show my gratitude! Mr Tan was the instructor I had for my very first lesson, and for most of my other lessons. He taught me most of the stuff. My last lesson with him was on Saturday. My last one was with Mr Phang on Sunday. =) He was a friendly and talkative instructor. Made the lesson more lively but he was also a sharp-tongued person and sometimes I feel very bad about making mistakes! But, at the same time, I learnt a lot of things from him. Dakara, hontou ni arigatou!! Thank God for giving me this chance to end it properly, for me to at least inform my instructor I passed. Although they'll most probably forget me a couple of weeks down, and I'll just be another student that went through their hands, I'm still very grateful to them. =)

3. Arranging a friendly and funny taxi driver for me! The taxi driver who drove me to the driving center was a fun guy. Well, I had never been asked before, but for some reason, he asked me if I was going for lesson or for test when I told him I wanted to go to BBDC. And so, he started telling me tricks about driving, his experiences driving and other funny incidents like how driving passes can be bought from the authorities in China, or how experienced drivers laugh at newbies who drive at 80kmph and think that they're going very fast, although others go much faster. It kind of made me forget a little the test which was approaching.

4. Making today a bright and sunny day. It had been raining the past 4 days but fortunately there was good weather today.

5. Everything.

I know I need to edit my translation for ep 10, but, Gem, gomen!! I'm too excited to do that now! Gomen!

Congratulations! =)
bicycle?!!! XDDDDD
haha!
heard before that in SG...it's not easy to get a driver's license ne...it's like you have to pay loads of fees first before you are allowed to get one...or was it...to acquire a car? XD

Both! it's about 60 SGD for each practical lesson, and an average person would need to go through 20 lessons to finish the whole course. Plus we Singaporeans are very kiasu. After finishing the course, most will book extra revision lessons before the test. The test is..a little over 100 SGD I THINK...and we have to pay for theory lessons and theory practises and tests. So that's alot of many just for the license. If you happen to fail...
And cars..it's crazy. The car itself isn't that bad. The killer is the Certificate of Entitlement!!! Very expensive! Then there is the car insurance to pay for, car number plates to bid for...
So, I'd rather get a bike! You can go wherever you wish to and exercise at the same time! No need to pay for any license or pass or fuels. It's pollution-free too! =X
@ marszz: Thankies!
oh I checked. I paid 154 SGD to the practical test, and all in all, I spent 2,222 SGD for my license. XD Nice number ne. I didn't make it up! T.T And about 3 hundred went to waste because I missed the lessons, either because I woke up too late or because I forgot about them. =/

Congratulations on getting your license :)
Morning test = passing rate high.
Last test of the day = very unlikely pass.
My personal experience XD
