I'm quite sensitive to this word today...because...everyone seems to be saying that to me.
I received an email from the OAS regarding my query about the subjects I am supposed to be allocated for next semester..they had kind of screwed up and didn't allocate this one subject I was supposed to read. And so they allocated it to me and I had a three-day school week. My timetable is quite good. =) And so my friend who had a 4-day week was saying how heng (lucky) I was. =/
Next, Angeline was also telling me how lucky I was to be able to buy the One concert pamphlet.
Then, my bestie told me how lucky I was to have met our ex-classmate yesterday.
But I don't feel very lucky. =/
I know...I am lucky as a person. But I don't feel very lucky these few days...especially yesterday and today. XP The DAI song? >_<
- I'm spoiling everything! My ipod's spoilt. This is the worst thing ever.......the worst!!!!!!!!! Well you see, I am the enemy of all electronics. Any electronic good near me will spoil somehow. I can even spoil the tv without touching it, yes, just by sitting next to it. O.o it always happens! No electronic good can stay in my hands for long.
- And then, I spoilt the door or my cupboard yesterday. =.=
- And then, my maid threw away my plastic bag into which I had put a piece of paper. To her, the paper was just rubbish. To me, it is something very important!!!! T.T And I think I had some other stuff ('rubbish') in it too demo she says there was only that piece of paper. I don't know if she's telling the truth because I can't exactly remember what I put into that plastic bag. But the thing is, I can't seem to find the 'other stuff'!!!
How unlucky can I get?
Ok enough ranting...The main purpose of this post is to fangirl a little over the last Jdorama I watched. I'll try to sound as excited as I was when I watched it. It is a rather backdated one...aired in 2003. =))) The reason why I need to fangirl is because of 2 particular scenes.
Scene 1
Kotori-chan posted a question for Sakuraba Yuichiro (Yu-chan) - What pet should she keep to keep her company?
Host: What do you recommend her to keep as a pet?
Yu-chan: Although I also wish to become a pet...Arashi's Matsumoto Jun's not bad.
Hosts: Arashi's Matsumoto Jun? Arashi's Matsumoto Jun-kun...He's now talking about a dorama. "Kimi wa Petto"...Now I really don't know how to answer that. So you're recommending Matsumoto-kun?
Yu-chan: Yes.
Kotori-chan: Although I wish to keep Matsumoto Jun as a pet...
Hosts: So why's the decision? Anyway, where can you buy a Matsumoto Jun? How much and where can you buy him?
Scene 2
Tsuyoshi: That guest artiste for the previous episode...Sakuraba Yuichiro is so cool ne?
Koichi: Somehow I seem to have seen him somewhere before.
Tsuyoshi: Impossible. There's no such a person around us.
Koichi: Hi. I'm Saukraba Yuichiro.
Tsuyoshi: You don't look like him. Your height alone isn't like his. You're making me laugh.
Koichi: I'll impersonate him again.
Tsuyoshi: He's better looking.
Koichi: How tall is he?
I was squeeling a bit when these two scenes played. lol.
Other caps
I like Mukodono 2003 better than its predecessor.
The storyline is more touching and I felt that Nagase's acting had improved quite a bit, especially in the more emotional scenes like the one above. I really felt the heartache for him then. He was still as funny (and remained to be so in MBMH) and I liked the song in M2003 better.
Also, his character in M2003, although still as nice to everyone and as silly, was more appealing to me because it felt more real and some of the lines he said were pretty touching. Yes, the screenwriter did a good job with the script.
The addition of a female manager for Yuichiro was good too because she added more colours and emotions to the dorama.
I don't usually rate doramas because it's really hard to compare since each and every drama has got their own strengths and appeal. But relative to MBMH, I'll give Mukodono 2003 a....4 stars out of 5!

Oh! Do make your way down to Orchard in the evening ne, fellow S'poreans. The lights are so beautiful, they actually reminded me of Japan. To be exact, Roppongi Hills!!!!! For the past 3 years, I've spent 1 week + every December at Roppongi Hills, surrounded by the beautiful, signature blue lightups. That, coupled with the cool (cold) Fuyu wind...ロマンチックで安らぎを覚える。So head down there one day ne? Makes one feel better after a bad day...=) Rin's clouds + sky can also make one feel more at peace........

I have yet to watch this! Looks good ^^ And Takeuchi Yuko is inside right? My first Nagase drama was MBMH and ever since I watched that I really wanted to watch his other dramas ... Where did you get it?

Nah this isn't the one you're refering to. The one with Takeuchi (and aiba) in it is Mukodono (2001). This one I'm talking about is Mukodono 2003, which isn't a sequal. er...I rented it, but I'm gonna buy a new copy later. =)
