I'm really loving TIME

Thanks to Tess-chan, I managed to d/l two more songs from TIME!! I'm so glad I've decided to stay awake a while more.

Cry For You is darn nice. It's soooo different from all the other songs heard so far. Very...unique! Like there's some element of rock, some techno...ahhhhh I like this a lot!!! It's quite different from what I've heard from Arashi so far, yet...still them. argh I'm not making sense am I?

And then, the full version of Life. I was quite curious about this song because the short short version on Shobeat sounded pretty good. And hehe Nino was kind enough to play the entire thing!! Something more on the simple side, as compared to the other fast-paced songs we've heard...something I can imagine to be the "ganbatte" kind of song. The kind you want to hear when you need encouragement. But, actually, I'd have liked it more if there wasn't a rap inside...the short rap by Sho...was it necessary? Sounded a bit awkward to me.

And I've finally gotten down to listening to another song I d/led earlier...Be With You..a ballad...ah...finally a ballad....the introduction to the song was so..sweet...and the melody was nice too..very simple arrangement, yet it draws up an image of bittersweet, simple love. =)

I really feel that TIME is gonna be great. I know some people were hoping for something more adventurous from them...and stuff like that. But, this is the near-perfect album for me. Near-perfect because I'm sure they will progress and improve when they release their next album. It'll never be perfect, because there's new goals to reach. I've not listened to all of the songs on the other albums =X so I can't compare TIME to its predecessors. But the songs inside. I really like the flavour of the album. As compared to the other albums, where there are quite a few songs that I only start tolove after watching them being performed live in concerts, I'm already loving many of the songs in TIME. I'm so happy. I love this album...and a BIG thanks to all those who've uploaded the radio rips. You guys are great, as always.

And to those who want a big surprise when their copy arrives, and listen to them all at one go, it's ok. Because you'll be really exploding with happiness when the moment comes. Bear with it a bit more ne...*winks at Tery*

Hanakimi needs slightly better casting for a few minor characters

I was just flipping through TVGuide 6/30 - 7/6 when I came across the character analysis page for HanaKimi...well, like most of you, I've only been paying attention to Shun, Toma and Maki. But this time, I took a closer look at all the characters. And I got pissed off. Look at it:

True love in reality? What we choose to believe...

I just read this disturbing piece of news in the Straits Times...

Actually, I've heard about it from my mom last night already..but...to see the pictures...

There was a murder case at my block of flats last night. Not at the block next to mine, bu the block I'm staying in. It seems like it was a tiff between the husband and wife at around 4 am, and then, it ended with the wife's body being found at the ground floor of the block. A few people witness the fall, but no one really knows what exactly happened. There were bloodied handprints at the highest floor (13th floor), as well as at lift landings and inside the lift also. That was why my mom told me not to take the lift up if I were to go home yesterday night.

Well, I'm kinda scared to go home now. =/

And my mom asked me not to take lift back up. My godmom asked me not to go home at all, because the Chinese Ghost Festival is coming soon, and they're superstitious lah. But, I'm a bit scared too. AND, she says that my mom heard from the block residents that the deceased woman was pregnant. And so, the image of a Pontianak comes to mind.

But that aside...it's a knock to fantasy. Because we've been fed with happy romance and love stories...but then, how many of such eternal love actually exist?

It's not a main track, and so perhaps you haven't really heard of it..the melody is not extraordinarily good, but the lyrics...I can identify with it.

I really love this quote. You can see this as it was meant to be seen as; a girl 'professing' to a guy who don't qute share her feelings. But there's another way to see it. Isn't it so true of our fandom? Us fans may be just one out of a million in their fanbase and they may never ever know who we are. They'll simply refer to all of us as fans collectively and never get to really know us personally. Despite that truth that every fan knows deep inside, we're still doing what we can for our idols and supporting them with the smallest act.

True love, our fandom, their personalities. Everything, is actually a result of what we choose to believe. Sometimes, it's really hard to give a definite, because even things you see right before you may not be entirely true. ne?
